Manual Root
Full root is possible but the author has requested that the guide not be reposted so they can maintain all changes in one place. But by carefully following the instructions posted at AndroidRoot.mobi[1] you will obtain root, with a modified ClockworkMod to install custom ROMs and Kernels.
Note: Open two terminal windows when you start. About half way through this process you will have to issue one command in the second terminal, while leaving the first terminal open. Failing to do so will result with you failing to root your Transformer.
